Around midday at a building in Macau's NAPE district, a mainland labourer fell from height while installing an exterior air-conditioner; the mounting bracket is suspected of failing, sending both man and unit down. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident has again drawn industry attention to harness use and twin-lanyard discipline for outdoor work at height.
How we work
Every external air-con install or removal by Inspire E&M is required to follow: (1) full harness with twin lanyards clipped to independent anchor points; (2) brackets reviewed by an engineer or supplied OEM; (3) pull-tests on facade tiles and embedded anchors before mounting; (4) two-person crews — no solo work at height.
